How do I pay?
All bookings and payments are made online at Beachstuff.co.uk. We accept major debit/credit cards via Stripe.
Is there a deposit?
Yes, a £5 deposit is required per booking. This is refunded within 2 hours of equipment collection, as long as everything is returned on time and in good condition.
Do I need to show ID?
No, you just need to show your booking reference (on your phone or printed).
Who can book and use the equipment?
Bookings must be made by someone aged 18 or over. Equipment is suitable for ages 16+, or younger children under adult supervision.
Do you deliver to specific spots on the beach?
Yes, we deliver anywhere along Worthing Beach or Goring Beach. When messaging us upon arrival (+44 07359 070 424), please send a location pin or provide a brief description of your location (nearby landmarks, etc.).

Can I use the equipment anywhere?
Our equipment must stay on Worthing or Goring beaches, near your drop-off spot, unless we agree otherwise. Only body boards and buckets/spades can go in the water.
Can I use UV tents for my pet?
Yes! UV tents are great for giving pets shade. Please take care of the tent—if it’s torn or soiled (for example, by urine or faeces), there’s a minimum £10 cleaning charge.
Do you provide instructions for the equipment?
Yes! When we deliver, our team will show you how to safely adjust and use chairs, tables, parasols, and tents. Please ask if you’re unsure about anything.

What’s the best time to visit Worthing beaches?

Safety Note: Be Tide Aware!
While Worthing’s tides move slowly, it’s always important to keep an eye on the water level.Check tide times before you visit.
If you’re exploring the beach—especially near the Pier—be cautious as the tide comes back in. It’s easy to get cut off by rising water, so avoid long walks around the Pier or distant sandbanks when the tide is turning.
Always supervise children and pets, and if you’re unsure, ask a Beachstuff team member for advice about tide safety on the day.

What if I need to cancel?
– Cancel more than 24 hours before your booking: Full refund.
– Cancel less than 24 hours before: 50% refund.
– No-show or cancelling after delivery: No refund.
– If we cancel due to bad weather or other reasons, you get a full or partial refund.
What happens if I’m late returning the equipment?
Please message us if you need more time. If the equipment isn’t booked for someone else, you can extend your rental and pay for extra time at the hourly rate. If you’re late without notice, your deposit may be withheld and extra charges may apply.
What if the equipment gets damaged or dirty?
Please take care of all items. If there’s excessive damage or soiling (including stains, tears, or pet mess), you may lose your deposit and/or be charged for cleaning or repairs.
What if the weather turns bad?
If severe weather interrupts your rental, we offer credits or refunds depending on how much time you were able to use the equipment.

Are you insured?
Yes, Beachstuff.co.uk holds public liability insurance for your peace of mind.
How is my data handled?
We only collect the information needed for your booking and keep it safe in line with UK data laws. We never sell your data.
